Kidnapping Victim Speaks Out
Jaycee Dugard's 1991 abduction diverted the 11-year-old from a resort city to the residence of a registered sex offender. With him for 18 years, Dugard birthed two daughters and was not allow her to speak her own name.
"It's troubling that someone. . . could do this under the supervision of the state," National Center for Missing and Exploited Children President and Chief Executive Officer Ernie Allen told the Christian Science Monitor.
